Pest Control Products

With over 40 years of combined professional pest control experience, we here at diypestsupplies.co.uk know what works.

For silverfish we recommend using Digrain Insecticlear. This is based on two naturally occurring insecticides found in plants: Pyrethrum is made directly from plants while Cypermethrin is a synthesised organic compound. The latter, in particular, is ideal for household applications as it will remain effective for a number of weeks.

A Helping Hand

You may need a little help and guidance with treating silverfish.

How To Guide

Handy 5 Step Process

  1. Check for any dark, damp places where silverfish prefer to live.
  2. Spray insecticide directly any places where silverfish have been seen.
  3. Leave the insecticide for 48 hours then thoroughly clean and re-spray.
  4. It is likely that you will need to repeat this treatment more than once to fully eradicate the issue.
  5. Once the infestation has been dealt with you will need to fix any damp issues within the home.

However, before treating it is recommended that you do read the full How-To guide which includes important safety advice.
